Strut Talk Runway Therapy founder Lolita Frazier is my partner in crime for this inspiring, educational Instagram Live series. This unique monthly virtual workshop is the perfect blend of bone health AND runway therapy. Bottom line? Lolita and I are on a mission to lift you up on days when you just don’t feel like yourself. Whether you’re a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient, thriver, or caregiver….all are welcome!

Gratitude Attitude

I kicked it off with a nice, big dose of gratitude. Just a little reminder to try and stay in the present moment when you can, even during these difficult times.

Shout Out!

A big shout out to Amgen  for making this project possible! One thing I’ve recently learned about bone health is that a healthy lifestyle certainly helps when it comes to preventing bone loss. But for those of us at higher risk, especially those of us with metastatic breast cancer, you need to take more aggressive preventative measures. A great example is Xgeva, a prescription bone-targeting medication used to prevent serious bone problems. Ask your doctor is it’s a good fit for you to prevent further bone loss from treatment.

Let’s Dial It Back

I dialed it back to the “why” behind “Strutting Your Way To Healthy Bones.”  When my doctor brought it to my attention that I hadn’t had a dexa scan, it opened my eyes to the importance of bone health. During a recent reunion with Lolita near her Strut Talk Therapy headquarters, we were chatting about how posture is essential when it comes to bone health. And boom! The idea was born to marry bone health and strut….and to create this special virtual program just for you.
