No One Fights Alone 2022 – An Unforgettable Evening For Triple Negative Breast Cancer
On Wednesday, May 25th 2022, the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation hosted its annual cocktail reception and awards gala, newly renamed No One Fights Alone. This year’s event was held at the beautiful Montammy Golf Club in Alpine, New Jersey.
As Board Chair, I’m so proud to report that our annual galas have raised over $4 million dollars, allowing the TNBC Foundation to fund critical research initiatives and to offer extensive resources, unique programs and essential services to the triple negative community.
This year, we were so pleased to honor OncoSec Medical Incorporated for pursuing triple negative breast cancer immunotherapy treatments and for bringing new hope to women battling metastatic disease; Dr. Ogori N. Kalu, MD, MS, Breast Surgical Oncologist at Saint Michael’s Medical Center in Newark NJ, Healthcare Consultant, Community Health Educator, and Chairperson of the Breast Cancer Task Group for the State of New Jersey Governor’s Task Force on Cancer Prevention, Early Detection and Treatment, for committing to research, education and treatment in the area of triple negative breast cancer; and Sarah Kelly, triple negative breast cancer survivor, and co-founder of Warrior Revolution and Foundation4Love, for her strength, courage and dedication to raising awareness of triple negative breast cancer and for providing support to breast cancer patients.
What an honor it was for me to present the awards to this incredible lineup! As far as a recap, where do I begin?! Let’s start with one of our amazing thrivers, Chance Osborne! She flew all the way from Indiana to join us. Here she is with our incredible Executive Director, Hayley Dinerman….they met for the first time ever just before this photo was taken!
Kelly Thomas and I couldn’t wait to have our photo opp with special guest Chance Osborne as well….
It was such a beautiful night, couldn’t resist taking photos with my amazing Board and Event Committee before the party got started…..
How magical it was for me to present the Vanguard Award to OncoSec! My new friend Kimberly Irvine (who I feel like I’ve known forever) accepted it on their behalf as their Head of Patient Advocacy.

Sarah Kelly and her beautiful family traveled all the way from Maine so she could accept the Courage Award. What a moment to be able to share with my amazing friend!

Artist Marco Santini created one of his signature “One Love” pieces right before our eyes at the event. Before the presentation began, guests were invited to give him words that described how they felt about helping us to eradicate triple negative breast cancer. The result? I auctioned it off for $10,000! Thank you Marco adding such magic and much needed funds for our mission.

I was pinching myself while taking the photo below! Kelli Anderson is like my breast cancer “big sister.” She’s the founder of the Breast Rehabilitation & Lymphedema Center in Westwood, NJ and we met when I was going through treatment. Ricki Fairley, Founder of Touch The Black Breast Cancer Alliance is my first TNBC friend. Two of my all time favorite people!

Friends that are like family! So incredible for many of us thrivers to FINALLY be in the same room together! Hope to see everyone there again next year!
Last but certainly not least, a BIG thank you to our presenting sponsor OncoSec Medical Incorporate and event underwriters Gilead and Merck for making this program possible.
